Director Mo Wan-il is making his Netflix debut with the new K-drama "The Frog," formerly titled "Alone in the Woods." This series also marks the OTT debut of veteran actor Kim Yoon-seok, who stars alongside a talented cast including Yoon Kye-sang, Go Min-si, and Lee Jung-eun. Penned by Son Ho-young, the drama unfolds on a summer day when a mysterious woman arrives at a vacation home, disrupting the lives of its owners. In anticipation of the show's release, Netflix has unveiled eerie and intriguing character posters that hint at the unsettling atmosphere of the drama.

The newly released posters showcase Kim Yoon-seok as Yeong-ha and Yoon Kye-sang as Sang-jun, accompanied by the message, “Dear guest, you are not allowed.” Yeong-ha’s poster depicts him in a bright forest, while Sang-jun appears distressed, suggesting the chaos caused by the guest. Go Min-si’s character, Seong-ah, is shown in a dark, rainy forest, and Lee Jung-eun as Bo-min is seen peeking through a slightly open door, playing a crucial role in unraveling the mystery. Netflix teased the series with the caption, “Be careful who you welcome. The Frog is about a woman who shatters the peace of a secluded pension."

The show is set on a serene summer day when Seong-ah, a mysterious woman played by Go Min-si, arrives at a rental home owned by Kim Yoon-seok’s character, Young-ha. Despite the calm surroundings, Seong-ah disrupts Young-ha’s life and those around him with her chaotic presence. Meanwhile, Yoon Kye-sang plays Sang-jun, who runs another motel and faces similar disturbances from an unexpected guest. Alongside these leads, Lee Jung-eun portrays a police officer investigating the enigmatic events affecting both Young-ha and Sang-jun.

The earlier trailer provided a chilling glimpse of the series, showcasing ample blood and suspense. It starts with Seong-ah showing up unannounced at Young-ha’s cottage, where her unsettling behavior quickly spirals out of control. Kim Yoon-seok’s character struggles to manage her disruptive presence, leading to a fierce confrontation that only fuels Seong-ah’s fury.
