Heavy rains again in the state, chances of rain everywhere for the next three days, important information given by the Meteorological Department
Rain is expected in the state for the next two days. It is predicted that moderate rain will fall at many places in Mumbai today and tomorrow.

Maharashtra Rain Update : The rains that have been resting for the past two weeks have become active once again. Heavy rains have occurred in many districts of Maharashtra including Mumbai, Pune. This has brought great relief to the citizens suffering from drought. Meanwhile, the Meteorological Department has predicted that heavy rain will fall in the state for the next three to four days. Therefore, citizens have been urged to be vigilant.
According to the information provided by the Meteorological Department, rain has been predicted everywhere in the state for the next three days. Also, light to moderate rains with gale force winds are expected everywhere in Konkan today and tomorrow. Rain is expected in Mumbai for the next two days.
Thunderstorm warning
Heavy rain has been lashing many parts of Mumbai since this morning. Also, heavy rain has been predicted at some places in Sindhudurg and Ratnagiri. Also in Madhya Maharashtra also rain with lightning is predicted. The Meteorological Department has predicted that winds may blow at a speed of 30 to 40 km per hour in Marathwada. Also there is a chance of rain with lightning at some places in Marathwada. It has been predicted that light to moderate rainfall may occur in many places. Along with this, there is a warning of rain along with lightning everywhere in Vidarbha.
Yellow alert issued
Heavy rains have started in some parts of the state, while moderate rains have started in some parts of the state due to the increase in heat since last 24 hours. Yellow Alert has been issued today by the Meteorological Department for the districts of Ratnagiri, Sindhudurg, Jalgaon, Pune, Satara and Sangli. Rain warning has also been issued in Mumbai, Thane, Palghar, Raigad, Nandurbar, Dhule, Nashik, Ahmednagar, Pune and Solapur districts.
Meanwhile, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Jalna, Beed, Parbhani, Dharashiv districts of Marathwada are likely to receive heavy rain with thunder. On the other hand, yellow alert of rain has also been issued for Buldana, Akola, Amravati, Washim, Yavatmal, Wardha, Nagpur, Bhandara, Gondia, Chandrapur, Gadchiroli districts of Vidarbha.
