A young man attacked a 24-year-old girl with an iron rod after she refused to marry him.

A 31-year-old man living in Navi Mumbai (Navi Mumbai Crime News) proposed marriage to his ex-girlfriend. But, she rejected the marriage proposal. Accused Pritam Mhatre attacked her on the beach in front of her friends. The injured girl was rushed to the hospital by her friends. She suffered a severe head injury and is undergoing treatment.

Meanwhile, Pritam Mhatre, the accused in this case, has been arrested. The officer said that a case of attempted murder has been registered under the Indian Penal Code. Police also said that the victim works in a school.
