The abuse reportedly occurred on August 31 when the aunt, Zahida Ansari (also known as Radhika), allegedly assaulted the boy in an attempt to force him to leave the house. The abuse came to light when a visiting relative noticed deep injury marks on the boy’s back and observed that he was feeling dizzy. The relative promptly informed the boy’s father, Shakeel Mohammad Hussain Shaikh, who then took the boy to Rajawadi Hospital. Medical examinations revealed severe swelling and injuries on the boy’s head, prompting the father to file a complaint at Parksite police station.
Based on the statements provided by the father and the injured boy, police have booked Zahida Ansari along with two other women present at the scene.
