Navya Naveli Nanda, granddaughter of legendary actors Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan, has recently shared her excitement over her acceptance into the prestigious Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ahmedabad. In a heartfelt Instagram post, she celebrated the milestone by revisiting a memorable moment from her coaching days and expressing gratitude to her mentor.

In her Instagram Stories, Navya posted a photo of herself cutting a cake at her coaching institute, surrounded by her coach and well-wishers. She thanked her entrance exam coach, Prasad Sir, with a touching note: “Thank you to @mba_Ims for coaching me for the entrance exam .” Navya highlighted her coach's significant role in her success, stating, “This is Prasad sir, who played the biggest hand in coaching and preparing me to crack the CAT/IAT entrance exams. One of the BEST teachers I have ever had the honour of learning from.”
She further added, “Us celebrating at the @MBA_ims office the day I received my acceptance,” reflecting on the joyous occasion with her teacher and peers.
Navya Joins IIM Ahmedabad
Navya, the daughter of Shweta Bachchan and Nikhil Nanda, will be joining the BPGP MBA program at IIM Ahmedabad. On Sunday, she shared several pictures from the IIM campus, exuding excitement about her new academic journey. Her Instagram post read, “Dreams do come true !!!!!! Home for the next 2 years... with the best people and faculty! BPGP MBA Class of 2026.”
The post featured Navya in a black suit standing proudly next to the IIM sign, as well as photos of the picturesque campus and her new friends.
Moving Beyond Acting
Despite her family's prominent connections to the film industry, Navya has charted her own path. Unlike her grandparents, uncle, aunt, or brother, Navya is not pursuing a career in acting. Instead, she is co-founder of Aara Health, a health tech company focused on women's health, and hosts the podcast "What The Hell Navya" alongside her mother and grandmother.
